The card is only open to purchase with a valid ID, so you have more protections if a card is ever lost or stolen. You can control the dollar-spend at the transaction level by timeframe such as day of week and time of day, and by product type including fuel, oil/fluids, parts/service, roadside assistance, quick lube and general merchandise.
